Historically, Genesys Computer Corporation Pty Ltd was incorporated in 1988 changing its name to Greenstone Technologies Pty Ltd in 1999, with operations in Australia, New Zealand and the USA. In 2000, Greenstone was acquired by i-Spire plc (UK).

In 2003, Explorer Technologies Pty Ltd was established by Peter C Solomon, the founding and managing director of Greenstone Technologies, with i-Spire plc (UK) retaining a minority shareholding, to continue the development, sales and support of the eXplorer suite of Travel and Tourism products.

Explorer Technologies continues with a commitment towards excellence, providing expertise in system architecture and design, programming and implementation, and industry specific products in the Travel, Tourism and Hospitality marketplace.

You will have 3+ years experience in application development with a strong knowledge in Database structures and Object Oriented programming. Experience with Jade, XML, XSL, JavaScript and HTML will be viewed favourably.

You will have demonstrated the following:

Your role will encompass the following:

· JADE programming
· Analysis and Design
· Web Services development
· 3rd party interface development
· Second level support

Some national and occasional international travel may be required.
